About this place
The Big Hina Matsuri is a Hina Matsuri (Girls' Day) festival held every year from February to March in Katsuura, Katsuura District, Tokushima Prefecture. During the period, countless hina dolls are displayed on a giant tiered stand. Because the place name "Katsuura" is shared, the Katsuura Network of Japan has been formed, and in Katsuura, Chiba Prefecture, the Katsuura Big Hina Matsuri is held, and in Nachikatsuura, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, the Nanki Katsuura Hina Meguri is held, with the Big Hina Meguri as its main event.
