About this place
Chiba City Museum of Art is an art museum in Chuo Ward, Chiba, Chiba Prefecture. It opened on November 1, 1995 (Heisei 7) and reopened after renovation on July 11, 2020 (Reiwa 2). In 1982 (Showa 57), Chiba City aimed to create a "citizen cultural city nurturing rich hearts and creativity," and a plan to establish an art museum was raised.
