About this place
Arts Maebashi is an art museum in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture. It is located at 5-1-16 Chiyodacho, Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture. It opened on October 26, 2013 (Heisei 25) as a facility supporting and promoting art and cultural activities in Maebashi. It is a "facility equivalent to a museum" under the Museum Act, designated by the Gunma Prefectural Board of Education. The name "Arts Maebashi" combines "arts," which evokes diverse and high-quality art and culture, with the local name "Maebashi."
