About this place
Yurinkan is a group of storehouses in Honcho 2-chome, Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture. It is a Kiryu City Designated Important Cultural Property. It consists of 11 buildings in all where the Yano Shoten carried on a brewing business, and 10 of them, including the brick storehouse, salt storehouse, miso and soy sauce storehouse, sake storehouse and grain storehouse, were designated Kiryu City Important Cultural Properties on October 14, 1994 (Heisei 6) as the former Yano storehouse group. Used as a multipurpose event venue for lectures, exhibitions, concerts and more, it is a base for cultural activities.
