About this place
Fukuyama Museum of Art is an art museum in Nishimachi 2-chome, Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture. It opened in November 1988 with the aim of promoting regional art and culture. It collects, stores, exhibits, researches and carries out outreach activities for artists connected with the Fukuyama wide-area region and the Seto Inland Sea region, modern and contemporary Japanese art, modern and contemporary European art works and art-related materials.
