About this place
Okuda Genso & Sayume Museum of Art is an art museum in the southeast of Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture, near the urban area. It opened on April 15, 2006 (Heisei 18). It holds and permanently exhibits 100 works by the Nihonga painter Okuda Genso and about 60 works by the doll artist Okuda Sayume, a married couple. In addition to widely honoring the couple's achievements, it holds special exhibitions introducing artists connected with the locality and outstanding art works and culture from Japan and abroad.
