Overview
An Edo town rebuilt at full scale; the accuracy of the carpentry makes it a place to check period stage design on foot.
About this place
Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura is a theme park in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, themed on the Edo and Sengoku periods. Themed on the Sendai domain under Date Masamune, who worked hard for the development of Hokkaido, the park reproduces many buildings connected with the Sendai domain, including theatres such as the Ninja Kasumi Residence, costume-change experiences, and archery and shuriken-throwing facilities.
