About this place
Kobe Fashion Museum is Japan's first art museum on the theme of fashion. It opened in 1997 on the marine city "Rokko Island" in Higashinada Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Its exterior is a novel design evoking a UFO. Inside it is a large-scale museum facility of four floors with a total floor area of 17,000 m2. It holds unique exhibitions that take up fashion from various viewpoints.
