About this place
Kitano-cho Yamamoto-dori is the name of a Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in Kitano-cho and around Yamamoto-dori 1-chome to 3-chome, Chuo Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Many Western-style buildings (ijinkan) built in the Meiji and Taisho eras remain. Yamamoto-dori (the road) is also called "Ijinkan-dori."
