About this place
The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Ceramic Art is an art museum on the theme of ceramics in Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture. It was established at the foot of Mount Kokuzo, next to Tachikui no Sato, to inherit and promote the ceramic culture of Hyogo Prefecture that has continued since the Heian period. It is also a facility that continues activities aimed at creating an ecomuseum-like environment in Tamba Tachikui, where the museum stands and where nature and traditional culture meet.
