About this place
Kanazawa City Nakamura Memorial Museum is an art museum in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. It stores and exhibits works of art including calligraphy, paintings, ceramics, lacquerware and metalwork, starting with items collected by the Kanazawa businessman Nakamura Eishun (1908 (Meiji 41)-1978 (Showa 53)). On a site adjoining the sloping green space of Honda-no-Mori Park stand the main building, the annex (former Nakamura residence) and tea houses (Baian and Koun-an).
