About this place
The Ishikawa Prefectural Nishida Kitaro Museum of Philosophy is a cultural facility in Kahoku, Ishikawa Prefecture, devoted to the philosopher Nishida Kitaro. Nishida was from Mori Village, Kahoku District, Kaga Province, which is now Kahoku. The facility was established in 2002 (Heisei 14) by what was then Unoke Town, with the aim of honoring his virtues and spreading and promoting philosophy. After the municipal mergers of 2004 (Heisei 16), it has been operated by Kahoku City.
