About this place
Kanazawa Noh Museum is a museum on Noh in Hirosaka, Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. It opened in 2006 (Heisei 18) with the aim of collecting and exhibiting art related to Noh, such as valuable works of Kaga Hosho, the traditional performing art of Kanazawa. It was built on land associated with the Kanazawa Noh Theater that stood on Hirosaka-dori in the early Showa period. It lies between Hyakumangoku-dori, running from Korinbo in central Kanazawa toward Kenrokuen, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and a passage through the site is provided to improve circulation.
