About this place
The Kamei Museum of Art is an exhibition facility in Itsutsubashi, Aoba Ward, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Its nickname is Gallery kupukupu. Its former name was "Kamei Memorial Exhibition Hall." Its main exhibits are paintings and sculptures donated or deposited by Kamei, as well as the butterfly collection of Bunzo Kamei, former chairman of Kamei and chairman of the Kamei Foundation for the Promotion of Social Education, and part of the kokeshi collection of Shogo Kamei, former president of Kamei and a director of the Foundation.
