About this place
The Shichigahama International Village is a Shichigahama Town complex, with a concert hall, a museum and other facilities, on high ground overlooking Sendai Bay in Shichigahama, Miyagi District, Miyagi Prefecture. Take care not to confuse it with the Takayama foreign summer resort near the facility, which is also called 'Takayama International Village'. Shichigahama, with a history of international exchange and resorts since the Meiji period through North Pacific fishing, the Takayama foreign summer resort and bathing beaches, built this facility during the bubble-economy period, when a resort development boom was driven by the Resort Law.
