Mimitsu is an area in the southern part of Hyuga, in north-central Miyazaki Prefecture. As a town name it is Mimitsu-cho. Within it are Miyanoshita, Takamatsu, Ochika, Ekidori, Ishinami, Shinmachi, Tatenui, Beppu, Yose and Tanohara. The postal code for Mimitsu-cho, Hyuga, is 889-1111 (Hyuga Post Office area). This entry also covers Mimitsu Village and Mimitsu Town, Koyu District, which once existed in the area.
