About this place
Aoi Tower is a super-high-rise building and complex commercial facility in Konyacho, Aoi Ward, Shizuoka. It is a redevelopment building built by the Konyacho redevelopment project. It is located diagonally opposite the north exit of JR Shizuoka Station. It is the tallest building in Shizuoka. Design is by RIA Co., Ltd. Construction was by the Takenaka-Kinouchi-Suzuyo joint venture. The complex building has 25 floors above ground and 2 basement floors (125 m), and opened in April 2010. Offices, a bookstore, restaurants and more are in the building.
