About this place
The Shigeru Mizuki Memorial Museum is a manga and anime museum in Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture. It stores and exhibits the collection of spirits and yokai gathered by the manga artist Shigeru Mizuki and original drawings of Mizuki's works, including "GeGeGe no Kitaro." It opened in March 2003. In May 2022 the "Shigeru Mizuki Memorial Museum Redevelopment Basic Concept and Basic Plan" was drawn up.
