About this place
Kiyoharu Art Village is an art and cultural complex in Nagasaka, Hokuto, Yamanashi Prefecture. It was opened with several facilities, starting with the Kiyoharu Shirakaba Museum and the Tadao Ando Museum of Light, along with studios, a tea house and a library. Kiyoharu Art Village and the Kiyoharu Shirakaba Museum realized the museum concept of the Shirakaba group members, including Mushanokoji Saneatsu and Shiga Naoya, through the private funds of Yoshii Chozo (1930-2016), who was close to them, and Yoshii Hitomi has expanded it.
