About this place
Yamanashi Prefectural Sone Hills Park is a prefectural urban park in Shimomukoyamacho, Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture. Its nickname is Kai Fudoki no Oka. The Sone Hills are a hilly area stretching 9 km along the southwest edge of the Kofu Basin, from the Sakaigawa area of Fuefuki on the left bank of the Fuefuki River to Ichikawamisato, with many sites distributed from the Paleolithic period onward.
