About this place
Shakado Ruins Museum is a museum exhibiting archaeological materials in Ichinomiyacho, Fuefuki, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is managed and operated by the board of education of the Shakado Ruins Museum Association, a partial-affairs association organized by Fuefuki and Koshu. In the construction work for the area around the Shakado Parking Area, on the Kyoto River alluvial fan with a full view of the Kofu Basin, excavation surveys were carried out in advance of construction.
