About this place
Nippon Steel East Nippon Works is a steelworks of Nippon Steel. It was launched on April 1, 2020, by integrating the Kashima Works, Kimitsu Works, Naoetsu Works and Kamaishi Works. In April 2022 the Kamaishi district was separated and integrated with the Muroran Works to form the Northern Nippon Works. It is divided into the Kashima district, Kimitsu district and Naoetsu district, whose locations are as follows. Kashima district: Hikari 3, Kashima, Ibaraki Prefecture Kimitsu district: 1 Kimitsu, Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture
