About this place
Marusumi Paper Co., Ltd. is a Japanese papermaking company with its head office in Kawanoe, Shikokuchuo, Ehime Prefecture. It is a Marubeni Group company and an equity-method affiliate of Marubeni. Its main business is printing and writing paper used for newspapers, publications and printing, which makes up 70% of sales. Among these, it ranks fourth in Japan for newsprint, producing 170,000 tons a year. It also handles pulp and sanitary paper such as paper towels and wet tissues, as well as power generation.
