About this place
Daio Paper Corporation is a major Japanese papermaker with head offices in Shikokuchuo, Ehime Prefecture, and Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. It is especially known for its household brand Elleair. It is a member of the Midorikai and belongs to the Sanwa Group. Its paper and paperboard output is about 2.7 million tons (2013, Heisei 25), the fourth largest in Japan by production volume after Nippon Paper, Oji Paper and Oji Materia.
