Umenishiki Yamakawa Co., Ltd. is a sake brewer in Shikokuchuo, Ehime Prefecture. It has been a subsidiary of Hakutsuru Sake Brewing since 2016. Until 2005 it ran the Umenishiki Garden Tanbara Beer Brewery in Tanbara, Saijo. 1872 (Meiji 5) - Founded by Yamakawa Yurata as an individual. 1954 (Showa 29) - Established as Yamakawa Shuzo Goshi Kaisha. 1991 (Heisei 3) - Reorganized as a joint-stock company, becoming Umenishiki Yamakawa Co., Ltd.
