About this place
Suehiro Shuzo Co., Ltd. is a sake brewery in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, that makes seishu (refined sake). Founded in the third year of Kaei (1850), it is a large brewery by Aizu-area standards in both output and lineup. The brewery has a brewery cafe, An, a classic camera museum and more alongside it, and one of its buildings, the Kaei Brewery, is open as an event hall and a venue for cultural activities such as concerts. In 2018 (Heisei 30), nine of its buildings were registered as nationally registered tangible cultural properties.
