About this place
Nishikido Co., Ltd. is a confectionery maker in Higashi Ward, Hiroshima. Founded in 1951. It makes and sells confectionery from Japanese to Western sweets. Besides its main product, momiji manju, Shin Heike Monogatari and Yakimochi Saki-chan are popular as Hiroshima souvenirs. Since opening its JR Hiroshima Station building store in 1965, it has established retail stores at various places in the prefecture, including Hiroshima Airport. In 2009 it launched a new product, Nama Momiji.
