Automotive parts manufacturing in Hokkaido
Toyota Motor Hokkaido was established in 1991 as a manufacturer of automobile parts. Its company profile lists CVTs, hybrid transaxles, transfers and forged parts among its products. The starting point for understanding this facility is to see it as a manufacturing base for drivetrain parts, not to equate it with a plant that assembles complete vehicles.
