Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd. (Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd.) is a steel maker (special steel maker) based in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Steel and a company of the Nippon Steel Group. It is scheduled to be absorbed by Nippon Steel in April 2027 (Reiwa 9). It is a steel maker called a special steel maker, producing special steel (alloy steel) in electric furnaces.
