About this place
Hakushika Memorial Sake Museum is a Hyogo Prefecture registered museum in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, on the theme of Japanese sake. It is operated by the Hakushika Memorial Sake Museum, a public interest incorporated foundation. Known by the nickname "Sake Museum." A member museum of the Japanese Association of Museums. It is a museum registered with the Hyogo Prefectural Board of Education under the Museum Act. It was established in 1982 (Showa 57) by Tatsuuma Honke Brewing Co., the brewer of the sake "Hakushika," with the aim of passing on the history and culture of Japanese sake brewing to later generations.
