About this place
Nippon Steel East Nippon Works is a steelworks of Nippon Steel. It was launched on April 1, 2020, through the integration of the Kashima Works, Kimitsu Works, Naoetsu Works and Kamaishi Works. In April 2022 the Kamaishi area was separated and merged with the Muroran Works to form the North Nippon Works. It is divided into the Kashima, Kimitsu and Naoetsu areas, whose locations are as follows. Kashima area: Hikari 3-banchi district, Kashima, Ibaraki Prefecture Kimitsu area: 1 Kimitsu, Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture
