About this place
Tsudakoma Corp. is a Japanese specialist maker of textile machinery and machine tool attachments with its head office in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. Tsuda Yonejiro developed Japan's first Tsuda-style power loom in Ishikawa Prefecture. Tsuda Komajiro, the son of a cousin who had gone to Tokyo with Tsuda Yonejiro and worked on loom making, returned to Kanazawa and founded it as Tsuda Komajiro Kogyo. It holds the top domestic share in looms and the top world share in production of jet looms (high-speed automatic looms).
