About this place
Komatsu Matere Co., Ltd. is a maker of synthetic fibers and other products with its head office in Nomi, Ishikawa Prefecture. It changed its name from Komatsu Seiren in 2018 to the present name. It is a major dyeing and finishing company for clothing materials, and produces about 70% of the polyester fabric for the thobe and kandura worn by men in the Middle Eastern Gulf states. It focuses on carbon fiber businesses such as Kabocoma Strand Rod, a rope-shaped carbon fiber composite.
