About this place
Kuzumaki Wine is wine made in Kuzumaki, Iwate Prefecture. It centers on wines made from yamabudo (wild grapes), a specialty of Kuzumaki. It is one of Iwate Prefecture's leading wine brands. It is a wine label that has been produced since 1987 by Iwate Kuzumaki Wine Co., Ltd., a third-sector company set up mainly by the town of Kuzumaki, which promotes itself as "the town of milk, wine and clean energy." The company is said to be in stable financial condition for a third-sector company. Its managing director is Suzuki Shigeo, the mayor of Kuzumaki.
