About this place
Asabiraki Co., Ltd. is a sake brewery in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, that produces refined sake. Amid the mood of cancelled cherry-blossom viewing after the Great East Japan Earthquake, it launched a joint site, "Hanasake! Nippon!", with several brewers in the Tohoku region. It also posted a video on YouTube appealing about the dire secondary economic damage in the Tohoku region. The master brewer (toji) is Masahiko Fujio and others (2014).
