About this place
Shikoku Dockyard Co., Ltd. is a shipbuilding company with its head office and factory in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. It has a 22,000-ton building berth and mainly builds high-value-added mid-size bulk carriers. It once belonged to the Mitsui E&S Holdings group, but in January 2022 Mitsui E&S Holdings transferred all of its shares to Nissen Kaiun, a ship-chartering company, and it left the group.
