About this place
Aoi Electronics Co., Ltd. is an electronic components maker with its head office in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. It originally tried to start up in Kanonji, Kagawa Prefecture, but moved to Takamatsu. 1962 - Wako Kogyo Co., Ltd. established, with automobile repair and similar work as its business. 1969 - Shifts its business to making electronic components and changes its trade name to Aoi Electronics Co., Ltd. Capital tie-up with Toyo Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd. (now Rohm). Takamatsu Factory opened. 1970 - Begins making leaded diodes at the Takamatsu Factory.
