About this place
Kinsei Seishi Co., Ltd. (KINSEI SEISHI CO.,LTD.) is a nonwoven fabric maker with its head office in Kochi, Kochi Prefecture. Its history goes back to Miura Shoko in the Taisho period, and after the war Kochi Seishi merged with the Ino Factory of Kinsei Kogyo to become the present Kinsei Seishi. While it had a brilliant era in past boom times, when its average bonus per person was the highest in Kochi Prefecture, it also went through a management crisis caused by a long strike.
