About this place
Suigei Shuzo Co., Ltd. is a sake-brewing company in Kochi Prefecture that makes the sake Suigei and other products. It is an affiliate of Asahi Shokuhin, a food specialty trading company, and is the only sake brewery in Kochi. The name Suigei (drunken whale) comes from Geikai Suiko (the Drunken Lord of the Whale Sea), the name that Yamauchi Yodo, the 15th lord of the Tosa domain, called himself.
