The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Nagasaki Shipyard is a shipyard and factory of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki and Isahaya, Nagasaki Prefecture. Its official name is Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Nagasaki Shipyard. Abbreviated “Nagasen.” Together with the Shimonoseki Shipyard and the Kobe Shipyard of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, it is one of the company’s main factories and shipyards, and is the company’s birthplace.
