About this place
Seifuku Shuzo Ltd. is an awamori distillery founded in 1949 and headquartered on Ishigaki Island, Ishigaki, Okinawa Prefecture. In 2024 (Reiwa 6), it took over the business of Taiseki Shuzo (Uruma, Okinawa Prefecture), known as Okinawa's only sake (nihonshu) maker, together with the liquor wholesaler Nanto Shuhan (Nishihara, Okinawa Prefecture), and the base for sake brewing will also be moved to Ishigaki Island.
