About this place
Yaesen Shuzo Ltd. is a distillery (brewery) in Ishigaki, Okinawa Prefecture that makes and sells awamori, liqueurs, fruit wines and moromi vinegar. Awamori brewed from the factory's spring water, with quality control thoroughly done by the latest computer control. Its main brand Yaesen (30°) is characterized by the rich aroma of atmospheric-pressure distillation and the drinkability of vacuum distillation through blending. Kuroshinju (43°) has the traditional mellowness and richness typical of aged awamori (koshu).
