Fuji Takasago Shuzo Co., Ltd. is a sake brewer in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture. It brews with subsurface water from Mount Fuji, which is extremely soft. The brewery began when the first Yamanaka Shokichi, a Hino merchant (part of the Omi merchants), founded it in 1830 (Tenpo 1) in Omiya-cho, Fuji District (now Fujinomiya). It was called Yamanaka Shokichi Shoten, with the shop name Nakaya.
