About this place
Kizan Winery (English name: Kizan Winery) is a winemaker in Mikkaichiba, Enzan, Koshu, Yamanashi Prefecture. Kizan Winery is in Enzan, Koshu, in the northeast of the Kofu Basin, where many kinds of fruit grow in abundance. Founded in 1930 (Showa 5), it makes wine using only grapes from its own vineyard grown in the eastern Yamanashi area. It is a family-run winery operated by a married couple, making Yamanashi wine rooted in the local area.
