About this place
Nakano Fudoson is a Soto sect temple in Nakano, Iizakamachi, Fukushima, Fukushima. Its name is Nakanoyama Taishoji. It is a direct branch temple of Eiheiji in Fukui Prefecture, the head temple of the Soto sect, and is counted as one of the three great Fudoson of Japan. It is a sacred site that has long drawn faith as "Nakano no Ofudo-sama", and is said to be the birthplace of the Rokusan-yoke prayer in Japan.
