About this place
Sapporo Fushimi Inari Shrine is a shrine in Fushimi, Chuo Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Its former shrine rank was village-district shrine (gosha). Ukanomitama no Mikoto Oyamatsumi no Mikoto Okuninushi no Mikoto Kotoshironushi no Mikoto Ameno-Uzume no Mikoto It began in 1884 (Meiji 17), when a divided spirit from Inari Shrine (now Fushimi Inari Taisha), a Kanpei Taisha in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, was enshrined at Minami 1-jo Higashi 1-chome, Sapporo Ward.
