One of the six Kirishima Gongen shrines. It stands on the northern foot of the Kirishima mountains, at the foot of Hinamori-dake.

Kirishima Mine Shrine is a shrine in Hosono, Kobayashi, Miyazaki Prefecture. It is a candidate for a shrine listed in the Engishiki, and its former shrine rank was prefectural shrine. Ninigi no Mikoto and Konohanasakuyahime no Mikoto Hikohohodemi no Mikoto and Toyotamahime no Mikoto Ugayafukiaezu no Mikoto and Tamayorihime no Mikoto
