The tutelary shrine of Imari, combining three shrines. Nakashima Jinja enshrines the deity of confectionery.
About this place
Imari Shrine is a shrine in Imari, Saga Prefecture. Its former shrine rank was prefectural shrine. The former prefectural shrines Koukitsu Shrine, Totoshima Shrine and Iwakuri Shrine were merged, and the present Imari Shrine was established in 1962 (Showa 37). The torii gates of the former Totoshima Shrine and Iwakuri Shrine also remain in the precincts.
