Shoin Shrine is a shrine in Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. It enshrines Yoshida Shoin, a thinker and educator of the late Edo period, and his disciples, including Ito Hirobumi and Yamagata Aritomo, and the students of the Shokasonjuku school. It is revered as a god of learning. It is located in Tsubakihigashi, Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Its former shrine rank was prefectural shrine. Get off at Higashi-Hagi Station on the San'in Main Line (JR West).
