Overview
The quarter west of Nagoya Station, where an older townscape remains, unlike the east side.
About this place
A local gourmet area spreading west of the Shinkansen exit of Nagoya Station. Unlike the east side of the station, with its high-rise buildings, a nostalgic townscape remains. Casual bars, yakitori shops, yakiniku, Chinese neighborhood restaurants, and izakaya line the narrow alleys and liven up from the evening. There is a custom of finishing a night of drinking with ramen, and you can stop by right after getting off the Shinkansen.
